Obomination

This man, dare I say messiah, (more like pariah) that 60+ million people (dead, alive and multiple personalities) decided to elect, as the next leader of our great country, has an ego the size of Hillary's cankles.

Just look at the following picture and tell me if you agree:

In all fairness, someone wrote to Michelle Malkin and stated the Presidential Transition Act of 1963 set up this so-called office and that George Stephanopolous, in 1992, sent letters on official stationery from this office. However, in my brief research I could not find any corroborating information. Whether it does or does not, don't you find it to be a bit disturbing that this man is so egomaniacal and audacious enough to start parading around like this? He is showing his true colors as an elitist, pompous ass.
I wonder what's next? Perhaps this:

I'm sure the new dog, to be named Photo Op, will have his own podium and nameplate as well.

The Beginning of the End

This is truly a sad day for our Republic. Please note that I did not call it a "democracy" as we are not. We are a constitutional republic. But I digress.

Over 60 million Americans voted for a Marxist for President. Apparently those 60 million like the idea of sitting on their fat rear ends while the achievers work to make the money which government will take and redistribute to those less fortunate - those who didn't "win life's lottery," to quote former Congressman Dick Gephardt.

Democrats will apparently never learn that raising taxes hurt the economy as well as decrease government revenue. Well, they will just won't finance our military as they truly despise it anyway. They don't like the idea that we are the 800 lb. gorilla on the international scene. This is something that I just cannot fathom. Power in the hands of the good is good, but power in the hands of the evil is evil.

Back to the taxes. Reagan dropped the highest marginal tax rate from 70% - meaning that 70% of one's income was seized by the government then spread around to those who didn't earn it - to somewhere betwee 23-28%. And (gasp!) the government had more tax revenue!

But promising to raise taxes on the rich is a tried-and-true campaign tactic utilized by the Marxist Lefties.

Another sign that our freedom, if not our country, is disappearing is that senior Senator from New York, Chuck Schumer, was running around yesterday during the election coverage and touting how he wanted to bring back the Fairness Doctrine which would destroy talk radio, one of my vices. The Democrats have had it in for talk radio since the Voter Revolution of 1994 when Rush Limbaugh was instrumental in getting the word out to voters about who was right and who was liberal. He exposed the Leftists for what they really were now they want to destroy him and his healthy 8-digit income. Not to mention that Barack Hussein Obama would love nothing more than to get rid of Sean Hannity since he made it known, on the campaign trail, that he was not too fond of the talk show host.

The Fariness Doctrine dictates that any radio station that broadcasts a conservative show must match the exact amount of time with a liberal host. Well, liberal talk show hosts don't jive with the populace (re: Air America) so these radio stations will either be forced to lose money during liberal shows or just change formats altogether.

That 1st Amendment sure is a favorite tenet of the Democrat Party as long as it is not being used to expose them.

There was so much at stake during this election - including personal freedom - but the dumb masses apparently don't want freedom. They would rather have security and be a slave to the government. Well, they got what they wanted, but did they have sell the rest of us into bondage as well?

Obama Tells ACORN to Stuff It

Halloween is almost upon us and I am reminded of a marketing campaign that you may recognize. One of my favorite movie series is that of the "Saw" movies. During recent Halloween seasons you may have heard the trailers for the movies saying, "If it's Halloween, it must be Saw."

I have my own twist to this advertising tagline.

If it's election season, it must be voter fraud.

By now I am sure you all have heard of the hoopla surrounding the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now, A.C.O.R.N., and their suspicious voter registration activities. They are being investigated in over 11 states for registering phony names like Mickey Mouse, famous people like the offensive line for the Dallas Cowboys, seven-year-old children and now in Alabama more people have been registered to vote than live in the state. Just two weeks ago a group of German tourists was registered to vote in Ohio. One young man said last week he was registered, by ACORN, 73 times!!! He was offered money, cigarettes and, I believe, alcohol in exchange for his John Hancock (or as Chris Farley would say, Herbie Hancock). One is compelled to wonder for whom these "people" will cast their votes.

I work with a woman whom I would call a "flaming liberal." My definition of this would be a liberal who blindly disregards fact and will break into a maniacal screech at the mere mention of "Fox News." She takes the word of FactCheck.org to be golden, however it is my understanding that website is nothing but leftist propaganda mixed in with some actual factoids. (The Annenberg Foundation finances FactCheck, org, and while Lefties like to say that this organization is a right-wing brainchild of a Reagan ally, it was once the roost of none other than Barack Hussein Obama.)

Anyway, a usual day at work will consist of her throwing out her little jabs about McCain and/or Sarah Palin mixed in with her tirades about Bush and calling me a "Limbot" (referring to Rush Limbaugh) and a "Republican" even though I have told her numerous times I haven't listened to Rush in at least two years and that I am an independent most closely relating to the Libertarian Party. I usually just let her spout off, making herself look like a buffoon, and just concentrating on my work.

Yesterday I had had enough of her vitriol so I threw my own jab declaring, "At least McCain is not trying to steal this election." Her immediate response was, "Why should it be any different this time? It happened in the last two elections." You see, she is one of these "Bush was selected, not elected" myrmidons. And when I hear someone spout that idiotic verbiage I know I am dealing with a mindless drone. She went on to say that she didn't care if this election was stolen by Obama. There you have the mindest of a liberal: They don't care how it happens just as long as they and their agenda prevail... even if illegally.

Just two weeks ago I made my prediction known to her that this election was going to be plagued with voter fraud. However it was in her mind that it was going to be the Republicans doing it. I went on to offer that the best way to avoid voter fraud is to mandate photo IDs to be presented at the time of voting. You would think she would jump at that since she was speculating that the conservatives would be the guilty ones, but nooooooooooo! She balked at the idea proclaiming that not everyone has photo ID. I initially responded that government could issue the IDs to those who did not have one, like my state of Georgia proposed.

But I got to thinking... who wouldn't have photo identification? Well, let's see, there might be the elderly who perhaps stopped driving years ago, people who have had their driver's licenses revoked, underage teens and adolescents, incarcerated or probational felons, illegal aliens, etc. There may be others, but those are the only ones that come to mind right now. Of those only the first two categories are eligible to cast a vote in an election (please be mindful that the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that voting in a presidential election is not a right).

History has shown that it is the Democrats that utilize voter fraud to win elections. One only needs to look at the election of John F. Kennedy where Mayor Richard J. Daley helped raise the dead and get them to the voting booths to vote for JFK. It was Al Gore and Daley's son that were trying to get Florida's absentee ballots disqualified because they knew the military overwhelmingly supports conservatives (a recent poll shows that our military personnel favor McCain 3-to-1 over Obama). Al Gore wanted recounts of votes in only heavily Democratic counties in FL in 2000. But when the Supreme Court stated that if even one county was to be recounted, they all needed to be recounted, Gore decided to withdraw his lawsuit and concede.
But I digress.
Getting back to for whom these ACORN registered voters will cast ballots, you would not be surprised to know that Obama used to work alongside of ACORN bullying banks into offering sub-prime mortgages to people who could not afford them. Obama has spoken at ACORN gatherings, yet he initially stated he had never had any connections with the organization.
What it all comes down to is that ACORN is trying to stuff the ballot box in favor of His Holiness, Barry Obama.

The 2nd Presidential Debate

Sonuva...! Dadburnit, McCain! You had the despicable candidate from the DEMONcrat party against the ropes so many times, but you failed to land the knockout blow.

I am starting to wonder if you truly want to win the election because it seems you are turning out to be Obama's best campaign asset.

There were so many times in the second debate where you could have hit Obama below the belt, yet you refrained. This is one thing that drove me from the Republican party to being an independent (most closely aligned with the Libertarians): you will not FIGHT!

The Republicans, for as long as I can remember in my three decades of existence, opt to take the high road when it comes to campaigning. [Insert choice expletive phrase] if you want to fight fire, you need to fight it with fire! Republicans need to stop pulling punches or our country will fall into the same mold as the former Soviet Union.

I would like to vote for the Libertarian candidate for president, Bob Barr (whom I have admired for years, and even met once), but he labeled our military personnel in Iraq as "occupiers." I cannot - and will not - subscribe to that point of view.

The Republicans have so ticked me off, I am even considering running against that POS power hungry Johnny Isaakson in two years. Before you start to argue, tell me this, what would you call someone who could sit in Newt Gingrich's old district and run for re-election and win for the rest of his life, but rather wants to run for Senate so he can campaign every 6 years instead of every 2 years. If "power hungry" is not your answer... you are sorely misguided.

Maybe I should be running for President as I, not even being an adept verbal sparrer, could have had Obama begging for mercy the other night. Come on, Republicans.... grow a pair!

Be Vewy Quiet, I'm Hunting Democwats

Tonight marks the one and only Vice Presidential Debate and the country is anxious to see how well or how bad Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will do.
Some believed she is way too inexperienced to take on a seasoned politician like Joe Biden. That coupled with an apparently horrendous interview with Katie Couric (the queen of liberal media bias) and there are some Republicans who are seeking to have Palin removed from the ticket.
I think if she is allowed to be herself she will do just fine. However she will already have the deck stacked against her since the moderator of the debate will be PBS' Gwen Ifill. It seems Ifill, a black female journalist, is currently writing her book "The Breaktrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama" which is due out on bookshelves January 20th. January 20th is the day set aside every four years for the inuaguration of our most recently elected president.
Does this not sound like there is a conflict of interest? Ifill is moderating the vice presidential debate and penning a book about politics and Barack Obama. Though she says he is only a small part of the book. Yeah, right.
Today is my father's birthday and he would've been 70. He also would've been thrilled to see Sarah Palin on the ticket with McCain... and he would be ecstatic that Hillary was defeated.
Happy Birthday, Dad! We miss you!

From Each According to Their Ability ...

Barack Obama promising to raise taxes on the top 5% of income earners - the eeeeeeeeeevil rich - one should be compelled to ask the question: Does Obama have any economic knowledge whatsoever?
Does he not realize that raising taxes on those people will hurt our economy and push it farther into the fiscal black hole? That extra money that he is going to force small business owners to pay could be used to create more jobs either within his own company or within other companies with which he does business? No matter how you slice it tax increases are wrong for our free market and our country.
I have often heard the argument that the rich should pay more taxes because after all they don't really need all that money and they can afford it.
I do not know about you but that sounds a lot like "...From each according to their ability to each according to their need..." which is straight from Karl Marx's The Communist Manifesto.

Exchange Rate

Barack Obama may be experiencing a surge in the polls after last Friday's debate - no he didn't win and I don't think McCain did all that well either - but he has lost a lot of momentum in his campaign since the announcement of Sarah Palin as John McCain's vice presidential candidate running mate.
There have been numerous reports of Hillary supporters flocking to support John McCain presumably - as the media would have you believe - because of Sarah Palin and the fact that she is a woman, and the Hillary supporters are more or less gender-motivated, sexist if you will.
So what would be the smart move for Obama to ensure victory? Drop Biden like a bad stock and announce Hillary as his running mate. Though, I believe Obama is too egotistical for him to make that move, even more egotistical that Hillary's would-be "First Dude." I also believe Obama is quite aware of the mysterious demises of those associated with the Rodham Clintons and knowing the whole "one heartbeat away from the presidency" line, I don't think Obama is all that desperate to give her that shot.
I worked with a woman last school year - I was a government indoctrinator in the field of Art - and one day one the young, mid-20s, female Art teacher was talking to the other male Art teacher (late 30s) about the primaries. She said she was hoping for the "dream ticket" of Obama-Hillary or vice-versa because, and I quote, "It's about time for a minority to be president."
This, I fear, is the motivation for a lot of Obama and Hillary supporters. This is exactly the kind a voter logic our Founding Fathers did not want to attract to the voting booths. This kind of thinking can lead to the demise of a country. The Founding Fathers did not want emotional voters picking our country's leader, they wanted informed intelligent ones. Note, please, that I am not saying voting for Obama or Hillary makes you stupid, but rather voting for them based on his pigment or her plumbing does.
