Inaugural Bliss?

We now have had a transition of power from the Bush Administration to the Obama Administration, and it is being regarded as one of the smoothest - if not the smoothest - transitions ever. We have George W. Bush and the professionalism and classiness of his aides and staffers to thank for this.

I have not heard of one report where the H keys on the computer keyboards are missing (and glued to the ceiling), power cords cut or any other vandalism that the juvenile Clinton staffers perpetrated. But we're talking about Bill Clinton and his administration: the most vile, disgusting, childish, and lacking administration ever to be elected by a minority of the people.

Alas, now we have change. Change from what?

I remember during the campaign Obama and his cronies/supporters were constantly bleating that a vote for McCain was a vote for a third Bush term. Funny they mention that because with his selections for his Cabinet, Obama's administration looks a whole helluva lot like a third Clinton term... including Hillary Clinton.

As I flipped through the news and entertainment channels last night taking in some sights from the inaugural balls I caught the host interviewing a black celebrity (I didn't stay long enough to get his name and he wasn't readily recognizable to me) and the celubutard had the gumption to offer - after the host offered "Happy Inuauguration Day" - "Happy Obama Day!"
I guess January 20th will soon become a national holiday... another day for our federal government to be ineffectual. Hey, that might be a good thing!

Some bigger news, though, yesterday has been swept under the rug or propagandized into nothingness. The Dow Jones plummeted 332 points yesterday. Oh, you'll hear several sources say that the Dow drops on every Inuauguration Day, but yesterday's plunge was the biggest drop in over 40 years! It seems consumers are exactly showing confidence in the new president.

i think obama is bring us change. change from what he said in his campaign and now. now he proudly boasts to have muslim connections as in the election it was your racist if you think he does. and change in his economic plans.
i would like that this point to mention the stimulus package as more obama supporters begin to switch sides because of it. i would like to mention that it is mostly spending. in large cities and the west coast but that is to be expected. it includes new government work programs. i now that many here don't know their european history but i do and let me tell you of the first time that was tried. 1848 in france. the july monarchy of louis-philippe was overthrown in febuary and a socialist louis blanc suggested that national workshops for the unemployed would please the people of paris. by june it was discovered that these workshops were too much of a burden on the government hemorrhaging money. so they planed to close them, but the poor had become depedent on them so from june 23-25 paris rioted and started a failed revolution.
i find that we can often find mistakes that we repeat in history staring us in the face, but like hitler invading Russia we repeat them
