The 2nd Presidential Debate

Sonuva...! Dadburnit, McCain! You had the despicable candidate from the DEMONcrat party against the ropes so many times, but you failed to land the knockout blow.

I am starting to wonder if you truly want to win the election because it seems you are turning out to be Obama's best campaign asset.

There were so many times in the second debate where you could have hit Obama below the belt, yet you refrained. This is one thing that drove me from the Republican party to being an independent (most closely aligned with the Libertarians): you will not FIGHT!

The Republicans, for as long as I can remember in my three decades of existence, opt to take the high road when it comes to campaigning. [Insert choice expletive phrase] if you want to fight fire, you need to fight it with fire! Republicans need to stop pulling punches or our country will fall into the same mold as the former Soviet Union.

I would like to vote for the Libertarian candidate for president, Bob Barr (whom I have admired for years, and even met once), but he labeled our military personnel in Iraq as "occupiers." I cannot - and will not - subscribe to that point of view.

The Republicans have so ticked me off, I am even considering running against that POS power hungry Johnny Isaakson in two years. Before you start to argue, tell me this, what would you call someone who could sit in Newt Gingrich's old district and run for re-election and win for the rest of his life, but rather wants to run for Senate so he can campaign every 6 years instead of every 2 years. If "power hungry" is not your answer... you are sorely misguided.

Maybe I should be running for President as I, not even being an adept verbal sparrer, could have had Obama begging for mercy the other night. Come on, Republicans.... grow a pair!

I was screaming at the TV for McCain to say what I wanted him to say but he didn't. I'll quote you the last question, then what he should have said.

"What don't you know and how will you learn it?"

"What Don't I know" McCain looks dead on towards Barack Obama and speaks in a firm tone, "Who is Barack Obama?" McCain turns his attention back towards the Camera and continues, "How will I learn what it is that I don't know?" McCain offers a sly grin as his tone turns into an almost mocking tone, "Learn how to Google?"

(McCain would have blown everyone away! It would be a quote remembered forever in America History And it would show a humble stab towards himself for not having an email account. Not to forget how many morons out there that would actually google obama and see the truth behind who this man really is.)

i think it is good thing to see a canidate not muddsling for once. Muddslinging may be a trandional campaingiing tactic but i think it pulls those stupid voters to vote for a canidate for a reason other than the issues. Muddslinging should be stop because it's gotten so bad that canidates don't explain their ideas (or even develop any) but instead just sit back and call their oppont dirty names or bring up thing they did when they were 6, or even blame totally unrelated thing on the oppent. The best example is Jim Martin it's impossible to find out his ideas because the only issue he talks about is claiming Saxby Chambles is little less than satan.
