In the spring of 2006, on a day where she abandoned here signature double-braided coiffure*, the Cutest Little Jihadist* in Congress, the Disgrace of Georgia, Georgia's Stain in the Congressional Boxers, Cynthia al McKinney bypassed the Capitol Building security checkpoint as congressmen and congresswomen are allowed to do...provided they are recognized by face or by the Congressional pin they supposed to wear. Having had her hair re-sculpted, and having not worn the identifying pin, the Capitol police did not recognize her. One officer called for her to stop, but she refused. He finally grabbed her by the arm to get her to identify herself, but when he did, she wheeled around and landed a closed-fist punch to the officer's chest. Now, if you or I had done that...sianara, hasta la vista, bon voyage! We would be clinking the metal drinking cup on the bars and singing "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot" in an 8' x 5' "apartment". Alas, not the Honorable Ms. McKinney. What did she do? Immediately she started making claims of racism! That's right she plays her ace in the hole, the ever-popular Race Card. Well, for her, it worked. The grand jury dropped all charges. Ahhh, the perks of being a person in power, a politician. This may not be the end of it though. The officer she struck, who did not want the charges dropped, may pursue a civil case. ATTA BOY!!! Stick it to her! Maybe she will be forced to resign. Naaaahhh! Then again, maybe there will be a group of Republicans to cross over in the primary – legally, mind you, Georgia being an open primary state – and remove her from office by way of ballot. We can only hope. An open primary means that even if you are a registered Democrat, you can cast a ballot in the Republican primary, or vice versa, just so long as you only cast a ballot in only one of the primaries (which we all know that Democrats don't exactly abide by the voting laws). It goes both ways. You see, in 2000, Democrats in Georgia did the same exact thing in the primary. they crossed over to vote for John McCain because even then, they has a hatred of George W. Bush. |
