Iraq Death Toll Passes 1000

One of the Left's biggest campaign issues was the death toll of American soldiers in Iraq. Granted, those of us who support the military in all it does, truly experience heartache with the news of each life given in defense of this great nation, but we are able to see the bigger picture: that it is better to fight the terrorists, who wish us harm, overseas in their land than it is to wait for them to attack us here. Plain and simple. You do not need to be a Bill Clinton Rhodes Scholar to understand this.

One fact that the media never seem to admit or point out, is that the military – a large majority – generally votes conservative Republican. The Left can't stand this and that's another reason why liberals despise our wonderful, awesome, dominating military (I am glad they are on our side).

Accordingly, news of the deaths of more than a thousand soldiers benefits the Left – in their minds – because a) deaths of American men and women supposedly hurts the Bush Administration (as it did the Nixon Administration in Vietnam), and b) because the liberals despise the military. One less American soldier is one less obstacle in the way of a one world government led by Bill Clinton as head of the United Nations.

Liberals loathe our military because it makes us the most powerful nation on the face of the Earth, and they, admittedly, feel one country should not hold so much power.

Let me ask you one thing: if there was going to be one country that militarily controlled this planet, would you want it to be a murdering, hostile force led by a despot; or a fair, caring, freedom-loving and freedom-spreading entity that stands up for those who cannot stand up for themselves?
